My approach to therapy is grounded in an understanding of complex PTSD and developmental trauma—trauma that develops over time in the context of relationships, often beginning early in life. These experiences can shape how we relate to ourselves, regulate our emotions, and navigate connection, boundaries, and identity. Many people come to therapy feeling stuck in patterns of anxiety, depression, shame, emotional overwhelm, or disconnection without fully understanding why.
I work from a relational, trauma-informed, and nervous-system–based perspective, with a strong emphasis on the present-moment experience. Rather than focusing solely on past events, we explore how early adaptations show up in your life now—especially in relationships, self-esteem, and your sense of agency. Together, we gently identify the survival strategies that once helped you cope, while creating space for new ways of relating that feel more authentic, flexible, and self-directed.
Therapy is collaborative and paced with care. I prioritize safety, curiosity, and respect for your nervous system, helping you build greater capacity for emotional regulation, connection, and self-compassion. The goal is not to “fix” you, but to support deeper understanding, integration, and choice—so you can move through life with more stability, clarity, and a stronger sense of self.
